BGP-234: Business Leadership and Strategic Corporate Citizenship

Continuing to provide feedback on courses that I took this term, I would like to comment about the course offered by Prof. Herman "Dutch" Leonard, who is a professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. The course was offered at Harvard Business School. In addition to an audience of students with very diverse background, this course offered what Brezhnev would have called "capitalism with human face". Prof Leonard did his best to in-build into every student’s mind the spirit of corporate social responsibility (CSR). I must admit that this course changed my otherwise “conventional” perception of how the business-community relationship must be constructed. Major takeaway, CSR and philanthropy are VERY different.
