Meet Eduardo Rodriguez, former President of Bolivia

On Wednesday, November 15 at 5:00-6:30pm in Fainsod Room. Eduardo Rodriguez arrived at the presidency under very difficult, and rather unusual, circumstances. After months of turmoil that had resulted in the removal of 2 presidents, Eduardo Rodriguez, then chief justice of the Supreme Court and third in line for the presidency, agreed to assume the presidency in June 2005. He served for 6 months and through his leadership is credited with restoring credibility to the presidency and overseeing a smooth transition to a new round of elections.
