Harvard plans Masters degree to train leaders for public sector

Nov 27: Financial Times published an article about Harvard. Substract from this article is given below:
"Harvard Business School intends to start a three-year, combined Masters degree programme with Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, aiming to prepare students skilled in public policy and management.

"The objective would be to train leaders for the public sector and the quasi-public sector," said Jay Light, dean of Harvard Business School, in an interview. "That's the driving force behind it."

The integrated programme - in its early planning stages - would probably begin in September 2008. It would be modelled after a joint programme the business school launched last year (September 2005) with Harvard's medical school."
