On Oct 13 (Friday) we held the first session of the Mason Current Event Roundtable. The idea of this initiative is to gather informally every Friday at 4pm to discuss what is happening beyond the KSG walls, and get a chance to hear from our classmates who have some insights on what is happening or how we might think about current events.
The latest developments related to the nuclear test by North Korea were discussed during the first session. Two of our Korean friends, Joo-Sueb and Jaehyun, helped us understand better the past and present of Korean peninsula as well as the possible scenarios of further developments.
This is an experiment and grew out of a request by some of our classmates, so why not to give it a try. So please join every Friday at 4pm at RG20.
