Comedian and political satirist Jimmy Tingle interviews Democratic
candidates for Lieutenant Governor.
BMG and Jimmy Tingle's Off Broadway are pleased to present a novel
way to get to know the candidates for Lieutenant Governor a little
better - and, more importantly, to have some good laughs, good food, and good drink.
On Thursday, Sept. 7, starting at 7 pm, Tim Murray, and Andrea
Silbert (Deb Goldberg cannot attend) will face their toughest
interviewer yet: Jimmy Tingle, whose appearances include 60 Minutes, MSNBC, the Tonight Show, and many more.
The evening will feature a buffet dinner of Redbones award-winning
BBQ at 7; an hour or so of Jimmy's own standup routine focused on
Massachusetts politics at 8; and from 9 to 10 pm on-stage interviews
with Murray and Silbert. If they can hold their own with a standup
comic, you know they'll be able to take on the special interests!
The cost is only $20 which includes the dinner, and there will be a
cash bar. The theatre is located at 255 Elm St., Davis Square,
Somerville.
